Marion L. Quade, 86, a life-long Janesville resident died with her family at her side on Monday, August 27, 2012 at Edgerton Hospital and Health Services of congestive heart failure and kidney failure. Marion was born on January 27, 1926 in Janesville, the daughter of Elmer and Florence (Morrison) Rogers. She married Alvin F. Quade on June 23, 1944 at St. John Lutheran Church, Janesville. Marion was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing, bird watching and cooking.
Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Alvin Quade, two daughters, Sherrie (Jay) Farrington of Rio, WI, Karen (Dave) Keelin of Edgerton, eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Clifford (Dorothy) Rogers, two sisters, Beverly Smith, Carol (Vern) Washburn, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Richard Quade, three brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, August 31st at St. John Lutheran Church, 302 N. Parker Drive, Janesville with Pastor Bond Haldeman officiating. Burial will be in Emerald Grove Cemetery.
